Gators kicking ass against Buckeyes

well right now its 41-14, all i can say is wow. troy smith didnt get a single touchdown, and they looked rusty against a tough gators D.

your thoughts?

Honestly, I saw it coming. Ohio State had WAY too much rest, 51 days (which is a 6 or 7 game span during the regular season). Florida had about 2 weeks less meaning they had a lot less rust to shake off. Look how the long rest affected fellow Big 10 team Michigan.

In addition, Florida's "random" (for the lack of a better word) offense and lightning fast defense was also too much for OSU. The final blow, however, came when Ginn had to leave the game. Without him the the Buckeyes were had no chance at matching Florida's speed.

I was glad to see Chris Leak go out on top. I always thought he was a good QB (nobody throws a prettier spiral IMO) and I felt bad for how much shit the Gator nation gave him this year just because they wanted to hand the job over to Tim Tebow (which would have been a bad idea).

I saw it coming too from an ESPN Insider scouting report. They actually had Florida winning 27-24 or something but I disregarded it as nonsense.

The most surprising thing for me was how Florida excelled defensively. They were absolutely dominant and forced multiple Buckeye turnovers. Troy Smith had an absolutely atrocious game , the Buckeyes looked like complete shit without Ted Ginn Jr. , and the game was so out of hand I turned it off with 13 minutes to go. Yet another one of the multiple college bowl blowouts that happened this season , and another reason why college football is boring.

But the most interesting fact about this game is, it made Florida the only team I can remember that won both the NCAA Div I-A Men's Basketball and Football championship in one year. That's an amazing feat.

Was a ridiclious game... everyone elase around me was rooting for OS, and I was like, dude, they can't match up against the SEC speed. Plus Smith had too much time off...

I was just suprised all Leak had to do was drop back, stand around a little, and then get the ball to someone who is literally open with nobody around them. It's just that the OS defense was literally nonexistant. Their offensive line was totally giving in to the Florida tackles... I was just like.. wow. I expected Florida to win in a close game.. not a ridiclious blowout.

I'm happy for Florida but its kinda annoying because I go to a Florida school and when we go to conferences UF students (including my sister) make it a point to brag about their success while they can.

Didnt watch the match however but to tell the truth I was more in the Michigan USC game than I was this one.
