Art work

Fri Nov 10, 2006 10:14 am

Hopefully this hasn't been done before. I got the idea while working on my latest (and first really serious) drawing. It's a portrait of Lebron James, I was planning on posting it when I finish, but I'm interested to see what artwork (not digital art either) that you guys have made yourselves. Don't feel shy about posting it (i am always embarassed by my drawings).

I should finish mine up sometime next week and I'm excited... it's the only thing I've done worth a crap. I'm only in Art I though.

I made a thread like this a while back... lemme see if I can find it.

EDIT: right here

I was going to say something, but I already mentioned that his God thread was a duplicate aswell, so I just shushed. And they say I can't behave.

Why dont you consider digital art to be art or its ugly cousin?

Photoshop lounge is pretty much designed for that purpose.

I thought there might have been a thread on this, but I wasn't sure. Thought it was on the other forum i post on, must have got the two confused.

What about people who use Painter and Illustrator.

Illustrator's good for vector, which probably still goes into the Photoshop lounge, but for Painter, I'd consider that art work, just 'drawn' or 'painted' using a computer.

I'm actually going to sell a painting for mandatory grad auction, so I gotta take a photo of it before I sell it off :( I'm gonna ask you guys what you think I should sell it for as soon as I get a pic up.

Think of the least you would accept for it then add 25-75% dependent on who is buying.
