good god I hate Leinart with a passion and I hate USC but this was interesting because he knocked up one of the top stars on USC's basketball team. This girl Brynn Cameron was in my graduating high school class.
It's a shame because she'll have to sit this season out.

I still dont know her name off the top of my head. She will forever be known as that chick with his baby. With that contract he has(excluding the fact its not guaranteed in the nfl) though she probably has no worries since its not like the WNBA pays all too well.

1. The sex was consensual so it's just as much her fault as it is Matt Leinart's.

2. She is lucky she got knocked up by a future NFL star because he will be able to pay the bills and the childcare.

So she willingly has unprotected sex with a future NFL superstar and people feel sorry for her? She has it better than most people in the country. Unless I am missing something obvious here.

I went to school with this girl for 6 years, and she is definitely not his sister.

Well yeah, the fact that some women want their own careers, and don't see their job as staying in the kitchen and raising babies. She's a future WNBA player, and now that's been jeopardised somewhat.

As you said Jae, its some women that want that. We cant assume that she feels negatively about being knocked up.

I'm not, but you've gotta think that if the basketball thing doesn't work out for her she's always going to be wondering 'what if'... obviously having a baby is more important than any career, I just hope it works out for them both.

I don't think there is a rule against playing the WNBA if you've had a child. If she really thought it would hurt her career maybe she should have used some protection.

First she's got 9 months out of basketball, then she'll have to take more time after that once the baby is born... she's probably looking at 15 or so months without playing at all, which sort of de-rails your career aspirations a bit at that age. I do agree though, not using protection is a bit stupid... unless this was a deliberate thing. Or she used the old "I'm on the pill" line.

well it does say that "she just knows and likes Matt, but that's as far as that goes". maybe the reps are telling the truth for once.

and I guess it really isn't a bad thing on her end because she'll be financially stable for the rest of her life (as if she wasn't financially stable already )
