Xbox 360 vs PS3

What out of these two are you guys getting?
i wanted to get an xbox but the ps3 sounds very tempting!

I'm in the same situation, all 3 next gen consoles are tempting, hopefully i'll end up doing like i did on the current gen, get the nintendo and the sony consoles

i heard that the ps3 is supposed to be twice as good as the 360 and 13 or something times better then the revolutioin (on paper)

Well, the Revolution is pwnage for retro gamers with the backwards compatibility with the GCN and the downloadable roms. Plus the controller looks intriguing plus the usual Nintendo-owned Mario/nintendo character games awesomeness. I like it.

Ps3 and Xbox360 has too many unnecessary features (like play mp3's on the console, for fucks sake, use a stereo and you can play game at same time!) but i mainly want the ps3 for the uber graphical thingy.

and for the new GTA game, GTA4 which is said to be based in Europe and should be released with the release of the PS3

I highly doubt it'll be released with the US release of the PS3, maybe for the Pacific release of it.

but i think the PS3 is actually having a global release not like the 360

That sounds alright, but whatever, hopefully it does get released before I blow somebody up.

Wikipedia says global release in November this year, so I can get it for Christmas!!! !OMG

there about the same. i say dont make me choose because i bought the 360 and the ps3 i will buy when it comes out.

I wasnt too excited about the 360 so I am here waiting on that ps3. The nintendo system sounds awesome though and if I win the lotto I might just get it.

you dont have to win the lotto. just save some money or invest in some good stocks. i suggest ebay or K-mart stocks.

Why would you bother with nintendo unless if you like pokemon? I got an xbox 360 and im loving it. Just wait for halo 3, then you'll see the difference between the ps3 and xbox 360.

I always buy each system because they all have trademark games. I want the revolution because nintendo are known for resident evil, and Mario. I have a 360 because of games like halo and Nights of the old Republic. And Playstation 3 because of Metal Gear Solid. They all have something special. Btw what game are you playing for the 360. I mostly play G.R.A.W, and 2K6.

The chances that ps3 won't outclass xbox360 is slim. Don't get be wrong..xbox360 is a fucking awsome console..look at it's library so far...but sony has too many great franchises to continue. Namely the grand theft auto series and the metal gear series...gimmie that instead. Mostly, i expect their graphics and hardware performance to be a little superior.

yes the ps3 will be better in extras because of the 60gb and the blue ray disc, but Graphically about the same. I like Ps3 even more than the 360 even though i have a 360 because they almost never have many consumer problems. The 360 is made to get better with time. They are making tons of ad-on's. I usually show little bias towards any of the systems because i buy them all.

PS3 has more RPG games! That's a selling point for me.

I'm playing Madden and call of duty 2, but thinking about getting nba 2k6. is it any good?

yes i highly reccomend 2k6. It is great in gameplay. i love the way the jerseys wrinkle when they move

ps3 will be the better gaming system because microsoft said that they designed xbox 360 to be the ultimate entertainment system....

so for best gaming + sports(this is a sports message board) choose ps3, for watching dvds + games+ music choose xbox 360, for cheap budget+ trying something new choose revolution
