Is there a way too make a line using the pen tool, but not have the green part show up? I'm making trim on jerseys, and it's really annoying to have to deal with the green part.

better use collars from sag's pack

if u nedd just to colour the area paste ollar and then select magic wand tool and select transparent area, then press select inverse and it will select the collar, then switch off the collar layer, but selection remains, then swithc on the texture layer and colour the selected area

I'm already using SAG's collars

, I want to put trim on top of them. I didn't know that method of colouring them, though. I've been doing it the hard way, adjusting Hue and Saturation, Color Balance and Brightness and Contrast separately, over and over. Thanks for the tip

yes you can make a line with the pen tool. get your brush how you would like the line to be then make any line or curve with the pen tool right click on the curve or line and go to stroke path choose witch brush your using and uncheck all boxes and click ok.
cant believe there are questions like this. go to goodtutorials and search.

Here's the easy way. Make sure your settings look like this.
See the two boxes close to the left, by checking the right one it selects 'paths'. Which, surprise, creates just the path, or 'line'.

Damn!

I'm so stupid. Shoulda seen that. I'm new at this, can you tell?
Do you know where that button is in Paint Shop Pro? I use it most of the time, although I do have Photoshop too.
EDIT: Found out why my question seemed so dumb. I have never tried the pen tool in Photoshop, only in Paint Shop Pro, and the controls are very different. It took me 5 minutes to find out why my path was not coloured using Photoshop(chose a stroke path)

. I'll have to look carefully through Paint Shop Pro and find that choice between path types.

It took me a minute to figure it out, of course I just searched good-tutorials as opposed to making myself look foolish on a forum.
I strongly suggest using Photoshop more than Paint Shop. I tried PSP once and it pales in comparison. Photoshop has eveything you Paint Shop has and more.
One more thing, make you sure you check the Photoshop Resource Thread that is stickied for tutorials and the like.
