A problem we're still trying to fix. Easiest way to get around it is to keep refreshing until the forum loads. My continued apologies for the continued inconvenience.

Sat Jul 02, 2005 6:03 am

It keeps getting worse for me. It won't even let me stay logged in. Everytime I log in and post or click a forum it comes up, then when I refresh I'm back logged out again, thus I can't edit my posts. A real pain in the sitter.

And I'm getting it all the time, not just once when I enter the site. Everything I click basically.

I've never experienced that; anyone else been logged out or experiencing the session problem after initially bypassing it (or getting onto the forum without experiencing it)?

Sat Jul 02, 2005 10:38 pm

I experience that from time to time. Andrew, based on my experiences at 4th-Quarter, the error is in the 'constants.php'.

Sat Jul 02, 2005 11:56 pm

The problem has been resolved in the past by modifying sessions.php. Unfortunately, while that problem was fixed it caused other errors.

Grrr.

Here. A major reason why I'm posting less again.

I know the logging in/out problem is something due to cookie/security settings, that would contribute to the situation.

Sun Jul 03, 2005 11:14 pm

^^ Tried it before already. I've set the NLSC forums as a trusted site, even modified my cookie/security settings, the same thing still happens.

Sat Jul 16, 2005 2:12 pm

hey andrew did you try this fix for it??

No I haven't tried that yet...thanks 'toast, I'll look into it. (Y)

Sun Jul 17, 2005 8:30 am

This is getting worse for me atleast, now it usually takes 20-30 reloads before anything happens to 1-3 before. And it's been like that for a week-ish. Any good news on the horizon?

Sun Jul 17, 2005 8:51 am

It's very annoying.I must press refresh button atleast 5 times to get on forum.

Sun Jul 17, 2005 1:56 pm

Yes, I am aware it is annoying and I apologise for the convenience. Hopefully we can get it fixed and it will no longer be an issue.

Sun Jul 17, 2005 5:23 pm

just now i pressed refresh atleast 15 times then gave up went to another forum then still had to refresh 5 times

Sun Jul 17, 2005 5:28 pm

Again, I'm very aware of the issue, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and hope I can get it fixed up.

Fri Jul 29, 2005 12:13 pm

wtf, come on guys, quit complaining. Andrew already apologized like five times, and he's the same person that's putting in a heck of time, effort, and resources running this fine forum and site for your leisure. A few refreshes or a dozen, it only takes a minute to get in. Andrew, I appreciate the hard work, and your trying to fix the problem. (y)

Thanks cyanide, very much appreciated. :)

I've encountered this error a couple of times lately but it seems to be happening much less frequently. Still keeping an eye on the situation, of course.

Fri Jul 29, 2005 7:29 pm

It barely ever happens to me. Mountain out of a mole-hill me thinks.

Ofcourse, Filip & his posse = girls. Haven't you seen a picture of him? He's got a pony tail and all. He's as flat as a door though.
