Converting .wav video to .mp3 audio

How do you do it? Someone suggested VirtualDub but other than download.com I can't find any place to dowload it, and download.com isn't working for me.

Itunes converts wavs to mp4s, which are nicer.

Anyway, I think ImToo Converter is a good one to convert mpeg's to mp3s.

This is what I used to use a while back, always did the job. Now I just let Nero do it.

Aw shit, I just realized they're mpegs, any suggestions? And for anyone who has an iPod, is the filetype the reason it automatically skips the song whenever I try to play it?
