Mon Feb 28, 2005 6:21 am

a guest post??? what the hell??

Mon Feb 28, 2005 11:40 am

^I think that was Joe before he got banned.

Mon Feb 28, 2005 6:24 pm

That's correct.

Mon Feb 28, 2005 6:36 pm

Why doesn't NLSC have a banned list like dotorg. It would show some examples of what not to do.

Mon Feb 28, 2005 10:27 pm

I think that is a splendid idea (y)

Tue Mar 01, 2005 5:59 am

Yes it would be a great idea... I didn't even know Joe was banned.

Tue Mar 01, 2005 11:08 am

I suggested that a while back. Andrew said he would consider the idea but that was it. :|

Tue Mar 01, 2005 12:11 pm

I don't remember the suggestion, but I'll take your word for it. I guess I either forget or decided it wasn't necessary at the time. I'm a little hesitant to incorporate it after the fuss over a "stolen idea" not so long ago.

So basically, you'd just like me to provide a list of everyone who has been banned, say, in a post in the Rules section? Or something more than that?

Fuck that, if you want to incorporate a feature, then do it. They should mind their own business.

I think the idea is to have a reason for their, and thats about it. Personally i dont think it's necessary but if the people want it..

Putting it in the Rules section would be fine. Just remember to lock it...

Yeah, just make a new thread in NLSC Issues/Forum Rules.. whatever, and post all the names of the members banned, the reason why they were banned and the duration of the ban. That's exactly the way they have it in .org but as they've said it themselves.. copying is the highest form of flattery :)

Wed Mar 02, 2005 11:29 am

Eh eye for an eye, they copy an entire website idea, we copy a banned list...

Wed Mar 02, 2005 11:32 am

How concise should the reason for the banning be?

Wed Mar 02, 2005 11:40 am

Let me think of the reasons

Wed Mar 02, 2005 11:52 am

I mean, would you prefer a brief description or a concise reason (Spamming, Flaming, etc)?

Wed Mar 02, 2005 12:02 pm

Depends really, like your friend doctor j could have "Reason: Being an idiot" whereas someone like JoeBuddah might need a longer more precise description.

Wed Mar 02, 2005 12:23 pm

Yeah joebuddha would be "Reason: being an english idiot"
