Wed Jan 26, 2005 9:49 am

How is everybody.. i need some help today!

I'm a house captain at school and we got the swimming carnival coming up in a month and then basketball next term and i wanna make a sorta a soundtrack that we can pump up on a boombox... so it would be greatly appreciated if all of y';all on the forum can give me names of some songs that u feel could motivate an unmotivated group of people to participate...

I really need ur help cause i dont have many except for my hip hop which more than half contain swear words that i cant use... so if u guys could think of songs that pump u up for bball and other sport please tell me...

Thanks! Sit

Da Rockwilder - Method Man and Redman

It Takes Two - Rob Base (ESPN Jock Jams)
Bang The Drum All Day - Todd Rundgren
Rock And Roll Part 2 - Gary Glitter
You might have to use that illegal program(s) to find these, or if you've got the ESPN Jock Jams on CD.
I've got a question: What formats do y'all use when making a CD? I use Windows Media, but I heard MP3 can be good also.

Wed Jan 26, 2005 12:46 pm

MP3 for me and I use Musicmatch Jukebox to copy it to CD.

I just found out that I can double the amount of songs that I can have on my 512MB MP3 Player!

I've been using a compressing tool that halves the size of a mp3 file while still being able to play at full quality. And I didnt think my MP3 player would recognise this, however... I tested it and it works fine! So now I can have like 250 songs instead of the 120 I had on before.

Now isn't that great :D

NWA kick ass.

Do I look like a mutha fuckin role model?
To a kid lookin' up to me
Life ain't nothin but bitches and money.

Do I smell a rap thread?
Love to get my girl, to rock that body
Before I left I hit the block party
Went to her house to get her out of the pad
Dumb ho' said something that made me mad
She said somethin' that I could'nt believe
So I grabbed the stupid bitch by her nappy ass weed
She started talkin' shit, would'nt you know?
Reached back like a pimp and slapped the ho'
Her father jumped out and he started to shout
So I threw a right-cross and knocked his whole ass out

Eazy E is awesome

  • Mos Def - Champion Requiem
  • Tomoyasu Hotei - Battle without honor or humanity
  • Thievery Corporation - Lebanese Blonde (Not much pump up but still great to listen to)

Yes, I know. I'm quite hardcore. I basically put what they play during NBA games, or what I hear, anyway.

Anyone have the NWA Greatest Hits album? There's one track (11 or 12?) that starts off with an intro that goes

"To everyone that bought this album: thank you for all your money. It's going to the 'Help Dre get a brand new Testerosa Ferrari fund'.
