Sounds like new religons is a new trend in 2k5. I was going with my friends and saw some paper on the bus stop, when I read it, it said that--

The world has been through worse times than the ones we are in now..

It is coming there are so many signs which proves this fact. I wont even get into telling the signs cause we all have different religons, and others will deny it. But if you want i can give you the whole list of signs which are presnent in our world, and these signs are letting us knw that Jugement day is coming.

I dont have a religon, I just try to be the best person i can be and believe in god, not man. Religon is run by man.. but his to his own....

With Judgement day, there have been worse times than what we live in now, world war I and II, the spanish flu... so was judgement day closer then than what it is now? considering times are better now?

I get what your saying, but what about global warming, is it accountable for the recent earthquake/tsunami. Also there are now enough Nuclear weapons on the planet to destroy it 80+ times over, slightly overzealous me thinks.

Sorry if im rambling, its 1st thing and i just got out of bed.

i was browsing on a forum that belongs to a church (christian) a friend goes to, and there was a post about the tsunami in asia.... they were encouraging people to pray (funny they didnt encourage people to donate, but they probably did somewhere else) for those that are lost or otherwise dead in the disaster. however, the post also said it is a reminder to the people as to not sin against christ/god.

maybe i'm being a little sensitive, but i'm getting the message from this guy that those who died deserved it as they have "sinned" against god or somethin..... which is totally ridiculous and a really (can't find the right fucken word ) thing to say

It's easy to make up signs that point to the world is ending. How long have this been going on for? Remember 1000 AD? Everybody thought the world was going to end that day. Heck, even in the year 2000, people thought the world was going to end. I suggest you read a couple books by Marcus Borg (Reading the Bible Again for the First Time: Taking the Bible Seriously But Not Literally is probably for you).


As a side note, I find it pathetic that there is so much attention on the tsunami disaster where about 125 000 people have been killed, and nobody gives a rat's ass about the 100 000+ innocent civilians killed in the Iraqi war.

Sick aint it. Its very hard to point a finger and blame somebody for the Tsunami, whereas with Iraq is pretty easy to say who's responsible. Alot of people dont realise that civilian casualties are that high in Iraq, its been brushed under the carpet very well. That said, Saddams "regime" is responsible for almost a million murders.

Only 1/20th of what Stalin accomplished. Anyway, I don't know why attention was suddenly headed to Iraq (oil? avenge for his father?) when bigger crisises are at hand in Rwanda, the Congo, and huge threats in North Korea and bin Laden, who's largely forgotten.

First of all I am muslim... My religon says things which are totally right (from my point of view). If you really wanna know the signs i will tell u later cause i have to ask my mom or dad about that...(cause they knw more about religon more than me )
