yeah i have been waiting for this game. unfortunatly it comes so close to gta andb nba live, but i should still get a solid month out of it. then again with all sim games i can just pick them up like 2 monthe slater or so and not miss a beat. i remember i played the original sims for almost a year kinda steady(mixed with other games). this one expands so much on that game and fixes everything that bugged me.

I have been waiting so long for this. Sims games are awesome, and they almost never get boring so I will be getting after I get Madden 2005.

I used to have The Sims. It was the most boring and repetitive thing I've played in my entire life. It was like fuckin' groundhog day or something, just the same stuff happening over and over and over

I agree + the original one was so boring they had to make 5 expansion packs (which will happen now as well I guess) and it still wasn't any better

Yeah you'd think they could make the game more interesting without making us buy 900 different versions of it. My brother got the Xbox version and that was abysmal. We spent all of our time locking people in the bathroom and letting them die

I killed my sims by putting them in a room full of stoves and kitchen tables.... deleted the door, made food with no skills, burning the furniture and watching the sims burn as well that was fun

Yeah, the Sims games are fun at first, but it does get old pretty quickly. EA has made A TON OF MONEY off of the Sims (especially with the 10 million different versions on PC and console) and they are seriously milking the game for all it's worth. But, The Sims 2 looks to be a pretty decent game and it should be good for some fun... not sure if it will get boring like the first one does.

we'll get to know that when we resurrect this thread after 2-3 months

i played sim1 and 2 and i enjoyed playing this game

Sims2 is absolutely fantastic. The only problem is there are no basketball jersey templates so I can makes some....I guess I would make a jersey with t-shirt under it...
