I'm just looking for a free program that can caputre audio on my computer and like save it as liek a .mp3 or .wav file or sumthin (and in case ur wondering i'm not trying to rip music off of CDs)

instead of using FRAPS which I have i need a good video capturing program, because when i try to capture video from NBA2004 its all jerkey and fast and its just plain crap. thanks

MMM, u could use fraps to capture the video with sound, then use Virtual Dub to extract the audio. Fraps has a free trial version, but ur limited to 15 sec clips and virtualdub is completly free!

Here is some Audio, captured with Fraps then extracted with VirtualDub.

Sample

I take back what i said about it being a linear sound, its actually very sharp and high quality!
