EA feedback

Tue Dec 23, 2003 12:08 am

I thought that patchers could submit their work to EA and in exchange they make the game more patch friendly and give some nice editors to the comunity (for the headshapes, sounds etc).
It could be like you allow EA to use your work in the next Live edition and they credit you and give you free EA games.
You can say: What? I'm going to do EA's work and only get a silly pair of games?
If not, you will keep doing patches and for limited users, and the patches are just graphics, which are a little part of a Game. And if you get credit for it, well it's a chance to go into game developing.

Problems that could appear with this are proving it's your work; or EA has already graphic designers, why bother when few people would notice a slight difference in the graphics, and we will keep selling the same number of NBA Lives.

We harldy have any contact with EA, they browse the forums ( I think )..but never post due to bombardments of flames directed towards them. Anyways, I don't think EA would bother with the issue...let's try getting them to get our game play and franchise fixed totally before we start asking them to take our patchers, who in return, won't have any time for us.

Meh, I dont like. (N)

I think it would be fantastic if EA posted at these boards, i don't think we'd flame them at all.

By the way, you should read this thread.

I wonder why anyone would flame EA? You don't have to play their games if you don't like who makes them, no one is forcng any of you to play. Same applies to the people who get angry with EA Games' The Sims Online (Which I happen to play), it happens all the time, but some people don't get it. These are just games not things to be obsessed with or to change your attitude.

you're right, but when you spend 50 $ or more each year to buy NBA Live, you as the consumer have the right to wait for some respect.

And I don't feel that we always get this respect when you see problem like free agents glitch that could have been corrected since NBA Live 2001, or when they remove useful features like in-game save.

I don't think that you got the right to flame them, but it's normal to be angry towards this kind of things.
