So I posted it here. Hope it's an appropriate section to introduce myself to the community.

So, uh, hi, I'm Emily, but if you couldn't tell by my creative username, I prefer Emma. I'm a Canadian and thus, am a huge Raptors fan and may be the only non-bandwagon one in my city (they were all Spurs and Heat bandwagoners last season). Kyle Lowry is my God and savior and I praise him daily. I also love the Timberwolves (because Minnesota IS Canada) and I'd be lying if I didn't say my love for the Timberwolves had nothing to do with Rubio's gorgeous face. Dear Lord, he's hot.

I'm a really casual basketball fan (I'm more into hockey) and because of this, I'm still playing NBA 2K12. Despite it being outdated, I LOVE it. I feel spoiled honestly, the NHL games are so lazy and under developed compared to this wonderful series. I'm saving up to purchase 2K15 which looks AMAZING, even by 2K's high standards. What do you guys think?

Also, as for my plans on the website, I really want to document my player's career in 2K12, but I feel the game might be too old to keep you guys interested. Also, I only read two MyPlayer's Stories but I noticed they were really focused on what happened on the court. Which makes sense really, it's basketball. But honestly, since writing about a sport I don't know inside out would be a challenge, so would it be cool if I introduced personalities, personal hardships and drama? The other big problem is I'm a shitty writer (as you can probably tell) and I'd be kind of embarrassed to share my awful writing with a bunch of strangers.

You know your real geography of barren wastelands, you're also religious, you'll fit in nicely in the NLSC even if you're canadien.

The NLSC could use some fanfic, that'll show those losers in the Stories forum how to write properly.

Don't be, everyone in the Stories section is a shitty writer.
If they weren't they wouldn't even be writing stories there.
Consider writing stories there as a way to improve or just to enjoy wallowing in your own shitty writing.
