Ok how many of you on here love Classic Rock? If you love Classic Rock like I do and want to share the memories. I encourage you to go to greatclassicrock.blogspot.com I also have stores you can do some music shopping or browsing at while on the blog. So if you want to talk about the memories and the songs or band then go there and share your opinions.

Define 'Classic Rock'. Give song examples. Then maybe, this thread can get going.

Where do you guys consider bands like Bon Jovi/Journey? They have a classic rock feel but arent necessarily of the same Era
My top are definitely Beatles, Steve MIller Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Eagles- Hotel California (i dont count the Eagles because truth is i dont like most of their other songs, but Hotel California is my favorite song of all time) (yes my taste in all of these is really mainstream but fuck it, i'm not a writer for pitchfork), Pink Floyd and probably more im forgetting.

Nice top three Oz, my favourite three were all written by George Harrison (Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun).
Bon Jovi is probably my favourite classic rock band I suppose, but CCR aren't too far behind.
