Am I the only one who didn't like (in general) LCD Soundsystem's last album, "This Is Happening"? 9 songs, I only liked 2.

It wasn't quite as good as Sound of Silver (very few albums are!), but I really liked it. One Touch, Somebody's Calling Me and Home were a little dull, but I loved the rest of it. Lock for my top 10 end of year list. (Speaking of...)

Yep we could do our lists in a couple of weeks. TIME already had theirs and I can't be happier on the No. 1.

Also didn't like Animal Collective's last album, but it was on every top 10 list I read last year.

Eh, I'll set up the thread sooner than that. All the albums are either out or leaked at this point, and everybody else is doing it. The last Animal Collective was good - not their best, but easily their most accessible.

Hope my final list doesn't end up resembling Pitchfork's too much...

I don't like LCD Soundsystem. I guess because it doesn't really make me want to dance. and I don't like Murphy's voice. and "Drunk Girls" is just awful.

I like Animal Collective though. they can irritate me but some of their stuff is just too good.

LCD SoundSystem's last album sucked. Drunk Girls was ok for one listen, that's about it.

So there's no use for this thread then. Another Thierry endeavor aborted.
