Prince no longer on the internet?

"The internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."

I thought this was a pretty interesting story. I'm a big fan of his earlier stuff (Purple Rain, 1999) and I thought his eccentricness was quite endeering in the early days. However, I think he's pretty deluded if he thinks people are going to move on from the internet any time soon. With the iPad just coming out, iTunes is still going to be a massive way for artists to make money.

Delusional is right. The Internet isn't going anywhere, I don't see iTunes dying out anytime soon and any business or entertainer that's at all interested in being relevant maintains some sort of web presence. He sounds woefully out of touch and frankly, desperate for attention. In fact, let's skip delusional and baldly call him an idiot.
