Would You Slap Her Back?

So Here is the premise.

Its a wierd Inndian tv show where the host gets to bully contestants around.

So this co-host slaps one of the contestants after he tells her to go fuck off herself. It was not in the script still she slapped him and he instinctively slapped her right back HARDER.

Then he gets mobbed by the idiots trying to impress her and he starts crying because he is being humiliated in public for something he had the right to do.

My Opinion : I personally never hit a woman but if she slaps me when i definitely do not deserve it especially when it is in a public place and on a live TV show by a stranger then i would totally slap the moisture out of her cheek.

My rule is that you are not to hit a woman unless it is necessary to your or someone else's safety. If it was a situation where I was being attacked by some puta, I first would want to restrain her but if need be I'd smack a bitch.

In the situation in that video I wouldn't have hit her. I'd get on my knees, pretend to propose to her, then grab those hips and give her a headbutt to the baby-maker that she will soon not forget.

No, I don't think I would. I'd be severely pissed off, I'd be sorely tempted but I think I would restrain myself because as much as it's a double standard that women can hit men and get away with it, I couldn't bring myself to hit a woman no matter what the circumstance.

To be honest i wouldnt hit her back in public but in private if it happened definitely yea. U know there are gonna be ppl gonna say how can u hit a woman blah blah and thats gonna make me punch more faces. If u are "man" enough to hit someone then be "man" enough to take it back.

Edit: OMG i cannot make a decision. I guess I will never know unless im in such a situation

It wouldn't matter to me, I'd rather walk away. The double standard being what it is, it's not worth the consequences to go an eye for an eye and like I said, I don't think I could bring myself to do it.

I saw this and seemingly the lady is a superbitch, meaning sooner or later it was going to happen.

Do I condone it? No. I wouldn't hit her back.

What I would do is sue that television show so bad they'd never be able to air themselves again.

I generally don't condone violence unless it's in self defense... and in this case, she really wasn't a serious threat to his general safety. That said, I don't think her getting slapped back was that big of a deal. I don't like the gender roles we have in society, and this kind of falls into that category. Just because you wear makeup and act "feminine" doesn't mean you should be able to get away with being violent. In regards to sex roles, having a vagina and ovaries is also not a sufficient reason for you to be able to be violent without repercussions.

I wouldn't have hit her back, but it would have nothing to do with her sex or gender. I just don't think violence is an appropriate way to go about things, particularly when we have the ability to file lawsuits.

Indeed, indeed. Made the switch to International Law this year. I've totally had it with Dutch law (in Dutch). Yay for the English language despite me raping it sometimes.

Agreed, there was no call for that. By all means confront and restrain the guy but 10-on-1 is cowardly and only escalated the situation.
