NY State Megacy: Rebuilding, Renewing & Reviving

Hey guys, I'm just going to use this thread to post updates every now & then on my legacies. For the legacies, I wanted to pick schools and pro teams that I thought had fallen on some hard times, but had in the past either being championship material or thereabouts. I also wanted them to be in one city, although I couldn't find the right mix of teams, so I extended it out to the state level. Some of the teams should be easier to rebuild than others. Some might be damn right hard, but I like the challenge.

The teams that I chose are as follows:

College Hoops 2k8: Syracuse Orangemen
NBA 2k8: New York Knickerbockers
NCAA Football 09: Syracuse Orangemen
Madden 09: Buffalo Bills

Obviously I don't have the two gridiron games that are still yet to be released & I probably wouldn't have them both for another few months at least, but I just thought I'd let you know my intention. Obviously, if both games stink, I probably wouldn't buy them, I'm just hoping that the games put out are good. I hope to run this megacy for a while, as with the college hoops 2k series now dead, I don't plan on really buying anymore sporting games for a logn while, as I'm very happy with the patched versions of the two 2k bball titles.

I won't be doing numerous &/or regular updates, as mentioned before, it's more just trying to keep chronicles of seasons played. I'll obviously be simming a good portion of games (maybe 1/2 of college hoops, 2/3 nba, but not so much with shorter seasons of gridiron).

At first, I'll be doing just 2007/08 Syracuse bball season, as I need to complete that before I can export draft classes to my 2007/08 NY Knicks bball season. Hopefully in time, I'll be running 2 bball/fball dynasties concurrently, but for now, until I get the other games, it'll just be one at a time. Such is life when you can't export draft classes until you complete the season.

As always, feel free to comment &/or discuss if you wish.

Enjoy,
X
