Uploading pictures

Most of us have uploaded pictures to a place like Imageshack or Photobucket. But I have a problem. When they upload it, they automatically change the picture to .jpg, and that declines the quality of the picture from what I see on the screen when I save it. Is there a way to maintain the quality of the picture when uploading?

Save as a high quality jpeg before uploading it. You could save it as a png file.
