I just got rejected last night

Postby Axel on Fri Oct 05, 2007 5:10 am

By the guy of my dreams. I am too introverted for an extrovert like him.

How are people who are generally reserved supposed to ever find love if...

1.) extroverts arent interested
2.) nothing would ever transpire with another introvert

life sucks.

1) You have to find an introvert. It's unfair if one wants to go out while the other one wants to stay at home unless you both are independent.
2) Keep looking, and you'll find the introvert of your dreams (why not?)

I disagree. Check out this article; I find it to be accurate:

I think introverts and extroverts can go well together, it's just a matter of finding one that wants the other. Not all introverts want other introverts and so on. Just because one rejected you (most confusing sexuality in NLSC history btw) doesn't mean they all would. Most obvious post ever.

I'm not introverted in the sense that I won't do things. I just didnt make all my feelings known because I had such a deep crush that I was afraid of revealing.

If introverts were the sunday crossword puzzle, you would be really hard and really long and it would take me all day to do you.

it would work if the extrovert liked the introvert. otherwise, the introvert would never say anything to the extrovert. i know from experience. :|

What the fuck happened with this place??? (I wrote that like gazillion times in the past 6 months.)

In other news, that's the funniest thread ever.

And oh, I'm never (NEVER) posting pics of me around here ever again.

I had a thing with a very extroverted girl once.(I'm quite intro, btw) It didn't work out at all. It annoyed me that she always seemed to be in desperate need of attention. And she was annoyed by the fact that I never seemed to care about not being noticed. She was very sweet, even beautiful, but I could've never pulled that charade off. Both of us were pretending all the time to be something we weren't.
@Axel: However, I'm not saying that it couldn't have worked out for you. But I found it to be extremely complicated.

Really ? Those things exist ?

And thanks for the explanation Jae. Guess I'm an extrovert.
I'd search for it myself if only my connection wouldn't lag as much today.

I'm an introvert, and Jae's definitely an extrovert (we can still make it work )

Though, I can't figure out whether Jackal's an introvert or an extrovert. Can one be both?

I think one can definitely be both. It all depends on how you feel and what your emotions are like at a given time.

i would also say you can be both unless you only consider how one acts during a first encounter. most people i know start as shy but as they get to know the group of people they are around they become more and more outgoing.

Oh god, don't remind me. What suprised me most was that it actually lasted for a while. It was so painfully obvious that guy is a freaking virgin who would probably faint at the thought of holding a girl's hand.

I agree with Sauru that a lot of introverts are capable of becoming extroverts if you really get to know one. I was a dead-silent kid growing up because I was always scared of people making fun of something that I might've said, but I've sort of outgrown that (I'm a tweener when it comes to being an introvert/extrovert.

don't worry Axel, it's all sweet as Nana's nuts (if she has any)....but anyways, if the person is worthwhile, they'll see you for who you really are....don't worry, I'm assuming you're still young (in comparison to me, I'm an old bastard of 26....I make Jae look like a noob) & there are plenty of fish in the sea....it took a while for me to find my perfect match (hold that, there are NO perfect matches honestly, but a superb, great match nonetheless & more than anyone could ask for in their lifetime), so keep your head up....
