Schoolies 07!

With the end of the year comin up, exams and school finishing, schoolies is on the plate. there may not be many of you going this year, because i got no idea how old everyone is lol, but if you are, where are you going and when? or where have you guys gone in past years?

Me and a group of mates are going to Torquay from the 24th of November to the 1st of December (i think) an its gonna go off. i turn 18 on the 26th so hopefully well have a big party with the 8 chicks stayin in the house behind ours :wink:

the amount of times I've wanted to go out and hand out some ass kickings en masse is countless.

This can't happen however... because most of the people who go to schoolies are 30 years old and just want to find some 16 year old girls to sleep with.

basically schoolies is the week after exams finish where year 12s just go away from home and get drunk

A lot of people around this way head up to Surfer's Paradise for Schoolies though my friends and I ended up going to Port Macquarie instead, taking a road trip to Surfer's a couple of years later in the Summer holidays.

I went to Byron for mine a few years back. Rented a massive house for 2 weeks with 12 mates. We had a pool and everything. Drank a shitload, smoked a heap, and enjoyed the sun. My girlfriend of the time went to schoolies on the gold coast with her friends and cheated on me. Didn't find out to 3 months afterwards, so I didn't even get the chance to rebound while up there.

I suppose they named it like that, because everyone got drunk, threw up... vomited all over the place , the island which is a big nest all together had then rotten and a smart ass came by, called it Rottnest and presto you got the name. Am I right ?

Close. Nah i dont know why it was named that i dont really care haha its a place to party and get smashed good enough for me. I'm going with about 20 other people with a mixture of boys and girls so it should be pretty good.

Hey I'm far from emo. I got over it by hooking up with a chick 6 years older than me, and her best friend in one night. Plus also sitting around down the beach with mates drinking whiskey, playing music and smoking. Emo kids cry and write sad poetry anout it. I was pissed at her, but it was definitely a blessing in disguise.

Lol, i was going to say that me and a few of my friends (guys and girls) were thinking of going up just for one of the schoolies weekends this year, as toolies, because we were all underage and couldnt go out or anything last year when we went to coffs... BUt then i saw Jae's post :lol:
