Anyone who uses Steam (Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, etc.) is welcome to join the group I created for nbalivers:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nlcsg

To activate it, under steam, go to the settings, on the account tab, you'll see "Beta participation" click Change and pick the Steam Community one. Restart Steam and it'll download the update.

I made a mistake and didn't check to the box to make it public. I deleted it and tried to make a new group, but now I'm getting errors trying to make a new group. I will see what I can do to get it back up.

EDIT:
I was able to create a new group. Had to name it just "NBA Live" and use the abrv. nlcsg (NBA Live Community Steam Group). Tis public now.

If you add NBA Live to the Games list (Games->Add a non-Steam game) you can access the new features even within Live. (Provided you launch it from Steam that is.)

Click for more detail.

This might be useful, even if you don't purchase any Steam games, just as a launcher for everything. You could IM from "within" Live, etc.

I joined...I'll try to play as much CSS as I can but I like Zombie Mod for CSS now...it's a better style of CSS which lets you make barricades out of map objects to keep zombies away. Fun!

yea but if there is a "High" or "Maximum" graphics option, I'm a little spaz and just have to boost up the gfx...even if I have to play the game at 20 frames per second.

See the problem is that anyone who plays CSS now has been playing it for a while so when I try to get good at it again I suck ass. I used to be good, so much for that now though. BF2 totally made me suck at it.

EDIT: I've revived my Steam account and I've joined, so maybe this means I'll reinstall CS2.

Same here. Gone are the days when I go berserk and kill 3-4 guys with a headshot using a pistol before they manage to kill me.

Right now in CS:S after getting owned acouple rounds I just go n00b crazy with the pump shotgun and always end up killing 2-5 people. Then I'm like fuck, I just beat that entire wave from the other team and now Im out of ammo.

asdf I've played some DoD, but haven't in a while.
