Postby Matt on Wed Mar 26, 2003 10:10 pm

ahhhhhh, finally this movie opens in cinemas in Aus tomorrow. I'm gonna go see it on the weekend fo' sho
The director (who happens to be Polish) also was in charge in Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds and now he brings us with this movie staring Jet Li and DMX who is my 2nd fav rap artist (2pac being the first)

can't wait to see it............the soundtrack is good as well, all of DMX's songs are real good, there's a 50 cent song there plus one with Obie Trice, Eminem and D

martial artist

you mean Chinese Opera actress...

Jet Li is shit... he can't even throw a punch without the help of camera effects. He got no skills... hes a chump... Oliver Miller could propably be a better actor than him... although they would need about 3 more men to pull the cable... but still. He should go back to Honk Kong and keep selling oranges at the local market.

And DMX... what the hell kinda thug gets on stage to get an award and start praying and thanking god? that dumb. He has to have faith in god cause he is a punkass wacked booger digger that would get beat up by any real thug. He prays to god to help him keep his underwear clean.

uhh..i hope you were kidding..because you should read up on things before you spew out garbage.

Jet Li was an international Wu Shu champion in China. I'm not quite sure how he'd do in a street fight, but he definitely knows how to "throw a punch without the help of camera effects." And if you're talking a/b Chinese Opera Actors..then you really should be talking about Jackie Chan.

In terms of acting skills, he's no better..no worse than any ordinary martial arts actor (which probaby isn't saying much) but still not bad for a guy that hardly speaks english. And if you're gonna comment on his films, watch his chinese films. If you want to talk a/b his martial arts "skills", watch his Wu Shu documentaries. You'd be surprised how much he can do.

Better to keep your mouth shut when you don't know what you're talking a/b.

Jet Li was an international Wu Shu champion in China.

What you fail to mention is that the Wu Shu is the international council of orange vendors... I think Chuck Norris might have won that too...

but he definitely knows how to "throw a punch without the help of camera effects."

Too bad there's no proof behind that... maybe he only does it against orange vendors cause he sure as hell doesnt do in in his films...

And if you're talking a/b Chinese Opera Actors..then you really should be talking about Jackie Chan.

How sad is it then that Jackie Chan has better moves than Shit Li? And just as a side note, Jackie Chan is fine in my book as long as he stays away from movies like "The Tuxedo".

And if you're gonna comment on his films, watch his chinese films. If you want to talk a/b his martial arts "skills", watch his Wu Shu documentaries. You'd be surprised how much he can do.

Im sorry. That's not going to happen because I DON'T LIKE REDUNDANT CRAP. And joggling two oranges at the same time is not that empressive.

IN conclusion, any cast director that hires Jet Li for any type of movie (unless its him being kicked in the nuts repeatedly) is a complete moron. Further proof of this theory is that DMX and Tom Arnold (and John Salley?)are also cast in this movie. Jet Li fans must like crap. That's probably why they decided to include some 50 cent and Eminem in the soundtrack.

and if he cant throw a punch without camera effects, then i spose no-one can.

wow Dert..your replies are really total crap...if you don't know what you're talking a/b keep your mouth shut because you're making yourself look like an idiot..

huh?????? what does this have to do with oranges..if you don't know what Wu Shu is, then don't make lame ass comments like this.
Dert wrote:I think Chuck Norris might have won that too...

actually i don't think he won that...Chuck Norris was a student of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do.

i don't know what these "orange vendors" are..but if you even bothered reading my post instead of being ignorant than maybe you would have taken my recommendation of what to watch for his real moves.

actually Jackie Chan IS quite impressive..for a guy that's in his 50's doing all his own stunts like that he really should be commended..but in terms of raw martial arts skills..Jet Li is better trained..and what proof do YOU have that Jackie Chan is a technically skilled martial artist...
again..if you don't know what you're talking about then don't bother because you're making yourself look like a fool.

welll I'm sorry you're too shallow to change your uneducated views..but you could stay retarded if you insist.

the movie may suck ass (I haven't seen it) but regardless, your comments a/b Jet Li are totally unfounded.

If you weren't so ignorant then maybe you would stop regurgitating useless points that have nothing to do with what I wrote. I have told u what to see if you want to know if Jet Li has real "skills" or not. But you're probably either too lazy or just plain incapable of understanding what I just said. So do yourself a favor and just crawl back into that little dumpster you came from.
