Are you using that PSJoy(I think that's what it's called) program? I remember that's a program where it maps the analog buttons to the keyboard so NBA Live users can use the freestyle controls. When I had that program on for NFSMW, my car had the same problem. When I turned the program off however, everything was fine. It happens to the keyboard and the gamepad. If that's not the case however, I don't any other way to solve it.

try quiting the game and then running it again. maybe the right button was pressed a little when you started the game. That has happened to me before on other games. Sometimes if you hold up on the controller while a game starts and loads it will then think that is neutral, so when you let go it will keep moving down.

This is a worst case scenario but it could also be a controller fault. My old Thrustmaster gamepad developed a fault with the left analog (and eventually the right analog as well) after I'd had it for a few years which caused some problems with the calibration being off centre. It certainly made jumpshots in NBA Live very frustrating as I'd find myself shooting fadeaways or leaners when I didn't want to.

It's the controller. I had the same problem with Live.
