what the differnce for creating reasons between photoshop elements and photoshop cs and does elements support psd files.

thone of the reasons i ask this is ive downlaod a trail from adobe of elements repeatedly but cant get to run properly and there online support gives nithng to determine i cant get it to run, be my os is capable f running it.
i like photoshop but the heavy price.

i'm nearing the point of needing to know about this ?. now add in photoshop by corel to this. i'd need to know what the differneces are in these, not the price points, i do know that, but the use of these, but more about useing these for the jerrsey's
