Jade Empire

Well, I've ran over Gamespot today and saw a re-release preview of Jade Empire. It is said that the game was developed by BioWare, and is an RPG game. Anyone here who's familiar with it? How's the game?

I have it for the Xbox, it's really good. If you've played the Star Wars: KOTOR games, it's kinda like those (to make a really basic and overly simplistic comparison).

Really? I hope they have 'em here. Says that the game is set on ancient mythical China.

Definately get the game. The same guys from KOTOR made this, though I prefer Jade Empire way over the KOTORs because there is just so much more you can do, and its set in Ancient China, like you noted, which made it that much better. (Y)

Yes, the time when BioWare still kicks. Although, it's sad to know that the original PC edition here is obsolete(maybe because of the releasing of a special edition of Jade Empire). You guys get to play this?

There was no pc edition of Jade Empire, it was only on Xbox. As for whether you should get it, I've already paid in full for it because of Bioware's excellent track record. I was recently going to buy the Xbox version but the pc one will have loads of extras and better graphics so I decided to wait until the end of this month. If your pc can handle it, definitly get the game,

This game is an oldie but goodie. As said before, it's basically kotor with asian kung fu and gods.

If you want, I can write down my impressions of the pc version of the game once I've bought it and played it for a while. I'm getting it the day its released and plan on playing it quite a bit after it's released since I've played only an hour or so on the XBox and have been waiting for a couple of months to play it on pc.
