Site Hardly Working

I have been trying to get on every now and then all day, and have managed to get on very rarely. This is pretty common with the site but as of late (last few days) it has gotten progressively worse. The connection times out and its uncommon for me to get through a few pages before it freezes again for hours at a time. Any idea of whats wrong and/or how to fix it?

Can you get on to other pages normally? If not it's probably a connection problem. I for one haven't had a problem getting on.

I noticed it running a little slower yesterday but it seems to be back up to speed now. As I've said before, it's something that happens from time to time and generally doesn't last more than 24 hours at most.
