Anybody know of a site where you can download videos or video clips to your computer instead of just watching them?

In whichever folder your file is, look for the Tools button (next to File, Edit, View and Favorites), hit the Folder Options button, proceed to go the "View" section.

Uncheck the box that reads " Hide extensions for known filetypes ", then press ok.
Now your video file should be like Blahblah.avi or something, remove the .avi and replace it with .flv or whatever it is you need it to be.

Oh, repeat to not see the extensions.

It works for me just to when i save the file put .flv at the end of the name you want the file to be called.

That's nice to know. What works for you, doesn't work for others though.

Like me. I have to do it like that, stoopid laptop.

sorry to BUMP this so much, but if anyone is still using this site: http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php i've found out that you dont have to change it to .flv or .vlc, you can change it to .avi, Then you can play it in Media Player or whatever, if u dont like the VLC/FLV players. Im pretty sure you can also put them on DVD's if you convert the .avi file. :D
