[hype]
Have any of you guys heard about Microsoft’s XNA Game Studio Express?

I read up on it just now and I guess it makes 3D game creation easy….but I’m a little skeptical because I’ve tried designing games before and well, it didn’t go so good…but Microsoft is releasing this into the public and relying on random people to make their own games. From what I’ve read so far its going to be completely free to create commercial games for the PC and it’s going to cost 100 bucks per year if you want to make games for the 360.

I have learned how to use Natural Motion’s endorphin to make animations, and if Microsoft supplies an easy to create game engine, how hard do you think it would be for me to make a game?

The BETA 1 I guess is out now, so ill download that when I get home. I believe the projected release date is the 30th.
Opinions are my own.

Interesting...

I wonder just how powerful this tool will be, and how advanced of a game would be able to be created... or if you could take portions of other games (see: Live) and recreate a game of your own, sort of mirroring it but removing aspects that you didn't want/improving it to your liking.
