nhl gets the worst game makers, even nba is better than nhl. The only fun thing you might do is go and play with blue-line-slapshooters(and yes they make a shit load of them) online.

NHL 07 for the PC (current gen) is only $30. Should EA sell Live 07 on PC to us for only $30 til they decied to make it the so called next gen? By the way Im getting Live 07 for only $30 I got a $15 off coupon I get them all the time does anyone else?

EDIT: The coupons I get are for the EA Store.

I heard NHL 07 and NHL2k7 are supposed to be quite a bit better this year....I'm going to hold out for reviews, but I might give one of the games a shot on my 360 (maybe 2k7, depends on reviews)....

In 06 the dynasty was week, the game play was pretty poor. I hope they can upgrade those two elements of the game for 07. Hockey games are always fun when playing with friends.

$15 off anything on the EA Store site http://eastore.ea.com/. They send me coupons alot. The one I got about a month and a half ago I used on Live 07. Shipping is $5 so you get it for $30. I Think this is the 3rd one I got this year. Its either from buying from the EA Store or regeristing alot of EA and EA Sports games. So does anyone else get these coupons?

I get those $15 dollar coupons once a year. They always give them to me around my birthday, but they expire way before Live comes out. I bought from the EAStore a few times in the past. I bet registering all your games is what does the trick.

yah i read the review and downloaded the demo

I am going to buy this game (and probably trade it in for Live in 2 weeks)

I havent played a hockey game since Wayne Gretzky's 3D hockey for the N64, and well, shit im just blown away by how fun at least the shootout is. Anyway with the return for NBA Live I dont see why I can't "rent" it for 2 weeks.
Opinions are my own.

yeah i enjoyed NHL 06 for a little bit, but got a little bored. By the looks of it NHL 07 is looking at another level now, especially those 360 graphics

this sounds sweet....I'll wait for 2k7 reviews, but definitely sounds like I'll be getting an ice hockey title this year for my 260 (Y)

IGN rated NHL 2k7 higher than NHL 07....although reader rating is low, but those people probably haven't even played the game....

has someone played both games? wouldn't mind hearing some thoughts as I want to pick the best ice hockey title....want to hear which one is more fun, has better franchise mode, etc....I'll read more reviews in coming days but am keen to hear from you guys....

EDIT: Gamespot reviewed NHL 2k7 as well....

at least there are better choices this year....

I signed up a little while ago and activated my account, but I still cant access downloads or post in the forums. I was hopping to check out a roster update on there but I guess I'll have to wait until they give me permission to access it.

I bought NHL 07 today for my 360....to tell you the truth, I'm not really feeling this game at the moment & will probably return it within the one week full refund period....it just seems to lack some soul, I dunno....what do you guys think of the game?!? I'm not really a huge ice hockey fan, but though it might be sweet, but I dunno after playing it....
