Download Counter

hey Andrew, u ar the webmaster right? well, whoever is, how do you put the download counter in text on ur files. i went the pafiledb and got it but i don't know how to use it. can you send me the modified file like urs, or if you know a different script that has a download counter in text.

All you have to do is write to a database whenever the link is clicked, and then recall the database data...simple...

Yes, I'm the NLSC webmaster.

The download counter is simply part of pafiledb, which is free software created by phparena.net. I didn't modify the script, only the layout of the pages.

Provided that your host offers MySQL support, all you need to do is upload pafiledb, configure the server settings as necessary, and then you can go from there. If your host does not offer MySQL support, then you cannot use pafiledb (or phpBB, or any other such software).
