I have this friend who wants very much to join this fine forum. She applied for membership yesterday and has only gotten the initial response. How long can it take for account activation to occur? I can't remember (much of anything) but I thought my account was activated fairly quickly.
thanks, love the forum, keep up the quality administration.

It just depends on when I get it. I wasn't online very long yesterday, so chances are I received notification to activate the account after I disconnected. Shortly I'll be activating another batch of new forum accounts, hopefully your friend's account is among the ones I will activate today. If not, chances are one of us did not receive notification of the account's status. If there are still problems after today, let me know the username and I'll check its status.

thanks Andrew, if its still a problem tonight I'll get that user name.
And Dan, I bet there's more ladies around here than you might think. I'm surprised the don't have WNBA Live. There are no games marketed to the ladies, and yet there are plenty of female ballers. Then again, maybe thats why I'm not the CEO of EA.

I doubt that since there were only 2 or 3 on the old forum (known posters that is though.. maybe there's some sick girls pretending to be guys over here)

I'm not so surprised.. what's fun in doing layups with 5'6 centers?

Who the heck would buy a basketball video game that featured a bunch of short, ugly chicks who could jumpshoot nicely but only did boring layups and hook shots?
