The first big Free Agency signings went to the Florida Panthers. They signed Gary Roberts and Joe Nieuwendyk. :!:

ALLISON TO LEAFS

Sources have told 640 Toronto that Jason Allison is expected to sign with the Maple Leafs either today or tomorrow. Allison's best year was with the Bruins in 2000-01 when he got 95 points. Allison missed most of the 2002-03 season and all of the 2003-2004 with concussion-like symptoms after suffering a whiplash injury while with the Los Angeles Kings.

Great. Jason Allison is another one of mt favourite players. He would be a great addition to the Leafs. And he's great on the face-offs which Joe Nieuwendyk was good at. So now we replaced Nieuwendyk with Allison. (Y)

Allison is a serious risk since he just doesn't seem to keep healthy. And he has several near carrier-ending injuries. Pass on that.
