new year's eve 2004-2005

Postby Tuomas on Thu Dec 30, 2004 10:53 am

what are you going to do this new year's eve?
I'm going north, about 250km where my grandparents live. Me and my cousins have planned the evening already. Buy lots of fireworks, dig bunkers in snow and have a firework war  it's going to be new and interesting

I don't know yet the evening has any drinking, but if it has, the war could get even more interesting

so those were my plans, what about yours?

Ahh, that would be fun Tuomas. Must be good to be your age.

At 17 all you do is drink.

A friend and I are going into Boston, which is usually crowded on New Years Eve. There's usually a parade, but me and her will probably just walk around, maybe settle down in a Starbucks and hit up Ben and Jerry's. Sweet...

Me + my friends are playing a long-ass game of LOTR Monopoly. And I will shoot hoops right before it hits midnight here.

now that you're 18 Nick you feel more mature :P

If the party's good I'm gonna get some  , else I won't drink at all, drive home and finish my wallpaper (the real one, not the one related to computer) :P

you're damn right, I'm 18

perhaps I didn't lighten the situation enough. The situation is this. There's -5c and 50cm of snow outside, my best friend is ill, I have no money, the sports facility is closed (=no bball for me), I don't have a decent gaming system to play ANYTHING worth playing, they show no NBA before January on TV, I have nothing to do at home... understand what I'm trying to say here?
So this is why I go to spend the new year's eve at the middle of nowhere... there is more snow and that means I can ride with mah snowmobile :P (snowmobiles rock), that I can't do at home.
And the firework part; well, we first thought of renting paintball stuff (you know the rifles that shoot paintballs), we didn't get that. So we decided to have a firework fight instead. Another good thing is that my cousins father owns the local sports store, so we can practically take all the fireworks and rockets we want, for free of course.

So that's why I have these plans for tomorrow, otherwise I might have been home playing NBA Live 2001 with 2003 rosters, generic rookie faces and details set to minimum.

I bought a €40 all inclusive ticket for this nightclub at my place along with all of my friends. All drinks were free so I basicly kept drinking and drinking untill I would pass out. I eventually fel asleep on the toilet for about 10 minutes until one of my friends woke me up

Right now Im feeling terrible and Im still under influence of liquer so excuse me for my poor grammar.
