Art Thread

I'm in an art program in uni and i's my life now, so I figured I would share some of my work, and encourage anyone to post some of their work. Here's 4 of my pieces so far. They're all done in pencil/coloured pencil, but I will post some of my paintings and maybe some of my digital stuff later. Warning, theey're pretty damn big pics. Go new scanner!

These aren't pics from stuff I have done FOR school, just stuff from my own time. The oldest is the CuJo pic, its like 4 years old, the D-Miles and Q one is from 01 I think, and the other 2 were from 03.

I remember when I got the Miles and Q one in my schools yearbook that they made me change his tattoo from the black panther to a basketball. I really wish I hadn't cuz 1) YOU CAN'T CENSOR ME!!!! and 2) no one would've noticed and would have made any connection (I'm white) and 3) I lost the picture I used and I can't remember exactly what it looked like.

Thanks guys, keep the comments coming.:D
I wish I could show more of the two basketball ones, but they're both much larger pics, and I couldn't fit it all on my scanner. The best part of the Kenyon one is definitely the jersey texture, I'll try to get a better pic of it soon.

Nice job with the coloured pencils, i can't draw for •••• with them. The Darius Miles and Q drawing looks alright, could use some better shading and highlighting. I can tell you definetly have some skills and since some of these are 3-4 years old you probably have gotten a lot better.

Im in grade 12 now and since you need to get a art credit at some point to graduate I left it till now so i'm currently takin gr 10 art. I never liked art really except for photoshop on computer but takin it has really changed my perspective on it and i've learned im not that bad.

Since i'm pretty lazy this is the only decent drawing I have actually took some quality time to do it. Shading took hours but I think it was worth it.
