I Rule!!!! (College/Uni)

Postby Matt on Thu Dec 16, 2004 6:48 pm

Yeah, just checked my results for my Uni units and i've passed them all :D I'm 8/8 this year

This makes me heaps happy because i was failing 2 before exams (in one i got 5% on a test that is worth 1/5 of the course)....but i studied a bit....stressed a lot and finally passed. Man, it's such a relief....i gotta start studying next year.

Year 1 is over, it's been great. I'm loving it.

haha nope, i rule.
remember in the college thread, where i asked whether it's plagiarism or not to hand in one paper for both classes?
well, i went along with it anyways
i ended up getting 90% for one class and 80% for the other :D

i was really lazy in high school but once i hit college i automatically smartened up, probably because in the back of my mind i know i'm paying for it. be prepared for college though you have to do a SHITLOAD of reading.. i just read 200 pages for my final .. it was brutal, and i have 2 more finals to go. i'm gonna die

i rule... I was quite shocked when I found out I got an A- in biology in my first quarter at a University... I was expecting a B to a B-. I really didn't read too much or study too hard.

Hopefully Winter quarter won't be any harder

Congrats all you guys for passing. I got my resluts, passed three subjects officially, and the final one though I passed, the official grade hasn't been given because it was a practical subject, and I just finished the work placement (1 month) and the report. The lecturer assured me I have a pass though, so it's all good (y)

Hey Stevan what are you doin now? Have you graduated yet? Doin post grad? What jobs you looking at?

Mate I still have next year to go. I finished a BA last year, then started Youth Studies this year (still undergrad). I got some credits and had to do only 12 of 24 units for YS. I've done 8 this year, and have 4 to go before collecting piece of paper number 2 :) I'll be 5 years all up, and mate I'm over it. I started looking for part time work in my field a couple of weeks ago, but that's now on hold because I'm going away for a few weeks. I'm over school man, just kind of going through the motions these days and looking forward to working full time (y)

Enjoy your break you guys who get one. The summer break is probably the best part of uni!

No I rule, my average grade was the minimum required for an A, 86%. Including a stellar 97% in PE. I'm a fucking stallion.

I rule because I don't go to school. Therefore I don't have to treasure the few weeks of holidays you people do get every now and then. Every day is a holiday, prospects are for people who like to work (N)

Congrats to everyone who is passing...now im another story.
My girlfriend decided to break up with me right before my set of exams and went on to tell me she was sleeping with the music producer we were working with so she can become famous and leave me behind...well, i didnt go to my exams and was living in a state of drunkeness and sadness just long enough to ensure that i didnt pass my course. :(

Im over it now though, which doesnt really help in the passing school thing, but maybe i'll be able to get back on track seeing as though i put so much on hold for the girl i was with.

sounds good man. I remember when i first came 2 NLSC and you were doin Uni. I wanna avoid work as long as possible and Uni is the place for that.

After I graduate I'll have 2 Degrees and then i'll get my international accreditation done. I'll be working FT when I'm 23

LOL man, I distinctly remember posting in the Starting 5 thread like every day after school, in stinking hot weather, like it was yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I was still in high school. I remember one of those summers also, we were on here every night pretty late... you, me, Jae, Rens and others!

And you're right, uni is the perfect excuse for not working. But I'm entering year 5, and in the words of an NBA player... "I need to get paid" (or is that laid? :D)...

I rule because I don't go to school. Therefore I don't have to treasure the few weeks of holidays you people do get every now and then. Every day is a holiday, prospects are for people who like to work

You fucking bludger. If I were working... my taxes would be going to you! But since I'm not, I can't criticize too much. I thought you were seeing the hot careers adviser? Stop pissfarting around

yeah 5 yrs is a long time. I'll have that much after i finish all my studies....and then go to work to get paid (and laid). Hey i should become a 'select' gigolo (get to accept/reject customers) that way i get best of both worlds.

I'm hearing yr2 is the hardest, but i cant wait to get back into it.

I'd like some sort of NLSC degree... I mean, we have put Australia on the map as far as NBA-Live related internet forums go...
