New Zealand and Canada. i wanna move to one of them.it doesnt matter which one

Hmm... well, I'm not entirely sure about your thought process here. Little Australia gets mixed reviews, if you're into scenary and all that bullshit then try New Zealand I guess, Canada would be my choice because it's so close to the US, so it's not gonna be too far out of the mainstream.

Well I've never been there so I can't speak with any authority, but from what I'm told the place is just plain boring. Most New Zealanders I know cant wait to get away from it, so I personally wouldn't pick it as somewhere I'd want to live

Yeah the reason I didnt suggest Australia is because it's VERY hard these days to gain entry. I mean it wasnt for me, but that's cause I'm a citizen... but they've got all this new criteria for immigrants, and it just seems hard to meet

well in recent surveys vancouver, canada was the number one place to live in the world. Australia is also nice, though, and if you're looking for a bit more excitment toronto is probably better right now than van-city in terms of night life, etc.., but vancouver has better weather and nicer scenery, and if you like skiing/snowboarding it has whistler too. if you really want excitement dont go to toronto go to new york or something, if you want night life go to london, if you want to be broke go to tokyo

im 99% sure Melbourne was voted most liveable city in the world in the last poll or wateva it is

Let me clarify smiley, I lived in England for 2 years, up until this February. Meaning I had to leave the country and come back. On my return I had no trouble getting into the country because I'm an Australian resident, I figured I should say that it was no prob for me because I'd just said it was VERY hard to get into the country. :shock:

I still enjoy that smiley.

Can't say anything aboot New Zealand (never been there), but I can say Canada is a good place to live, eh.

Plenty of scenery over here, too. Lots of multiculturalism.... I don't know, I guess since I've lived here for a long time, I've taken many of the good things about Canada for granted, but it's a good place to live in. Not to mention it's the world's capital for Curling :roll:

and lots of lumberjacks (actually, never met one). Oh, and I assure you most of us don't live in igloos.

The reason Toronto has a horrible weather compared to Vancouver (not that the weather in Vancouver is spectacular) is because of the continental effect thingy you might learn in Geography. Being close to the ocean regulates the weather of coastal cities so there's not much fluctuation in Vancouver.

CANADA!!!!

Go to Vancouver, we have the beaches in the summer and the mountains in the winter. During the winter it's about 2-7 degrees celsius (so it's not that cold), the bad thing about that is it rains a lot. But it's usually light rain that a windbreaker will keep you dry from. In the summer it's usually 22-28 degrees and sunny. Like today, spent my day doing flips on my friend's trampoline then going and swimming at my other friend's pool. The restaurants are also pretty cheap and there's plenty of stuff to do. And the schools are mostly good. There's a few crap ones, not mine *puffs out chest and acts proud*. It's also very multicultural here like wangster said, the city must be 40% asian! And it's on pacific time so you don't have to stay up late for any games.

One con is that I heard they made immigration tests tough unless you can provide something to the country (ie. you're a doctor, but it doesn't have to be that good a job)
