Lamar Odom Fighting For His Life After Being Found Unconscious In Brothel

Lamar Odom is in hospital fighting for his life after being found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada, TMZ is reporting.

According to sources, Odom was "partying with the girls for days" at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch and taking a herbal substitute for Viagra, when he was found unconscious in his VIP suites.

When he was rolled onto his side, the manager saw a "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth."

TMZ has quoted the source as saying: "It's not good."

Jeez.

Very sad news and unfortunately we all knew this day would come soon even tho they are saying it's not crack in some ways it's related but none of that matters when you see a fallen star in this way.

Hope he pulls through.

The vetoed trade to the Hornets, and subsequent trade to the Mavericks back in 2011, really seem to have affected him mentally and set him on a bad path. Whatever help he needed, it seems he didn't get it, as it's been a string of bad decisions/not looking after himself properly ever since.

Not confirmed yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon.
Supposedly his heart & kidneys are failing.
At least he has Khloe by his side at the end. That's probably what he would have wanted.

Still rooting for him to not go down so quick though.

It's definitely not sounding promising, but hopefully that's just everyone bracing for the worst, while the doctors do what they can.

He was one of my favorite Lakers, not suited to be a legit #2 but what a damn fine #3 aka Jack of all Trades he made. Sucks this is what his life came down too, the guy faced a shit load of sorrow in his life.

Hope he recovers, what a fucking waste.

It was just four years ago Lamar won 6th man of the year. Let that sink in. 4 years ago.

It's been a rapid spiral, no doubt.

Authorities Release Lamar Odom 911 Calls, Confirm Cocaine And Viagra Use

Lamar Odom had used cocaine and sexual performance enhancers prior to his collapse at a Nevada brothel, police have confirmed.

Speaking to media, a spokesman for the Nye County Sheriff's Office said that Lamar was found unconscious but breathing in the VIP suites of Dennis Hof's Love Ranch, with blood coming from his nose and mouth, along with a white substance, at 3:34pm on October 13.

When asked if Lamar had been found clothed or "in an act", a second spokesman paused before replying: "I don't feel comfortable disclosing that information right now."

One of two 911 calls made from the ranch - which came from a female employee, and media director Richard Hunter - and released by police said that Lamar had taken 10 tabs of the sexual performance enhancers over the three day period prior.

Samples of Lamar's blood have been taken by police and are awaiting submission to the police lab for processing, where it will be determined if Lamar suffered a drug overdose. They are also investigating whether this may have been a suicide attempt.

Right now, Lamar is fighting for his life at Pahrump hospital, where his technically-not-yet-ex wife Khloé Kardashian is making medical decisions for him. If Lamar is found to be brain dead - as some reports are currently circulating - this may include turning off his life support.

That's very sad. Looking bad at this point but I hope he comes back functioning reasonably well.

The multiple strokes aren't an encouraging sign. As much as I'd like to see him make a full recovery - famous or not, you hate to see that happen to someone in their 30s - I can't shake the feeling that we're heading for a report that confirms that he's brain dead, and it becomes academic.

Might as well have just answered the question, really.

His portrayal on the Kardashians TV show probably didn't help

Sounds more like recklessness than a conscious suicide attempt, but the drug use is certainly self-destructive, if nothing else.

Not likely considering that cocaine and Viagra is what one would expect to see when doing a sex marathon at a whorehouse.

More like a bad mix of those drugs.

Speaking from personal experience?

A multiple day binge with that combo of drugs I heard is quite lethal for the body

I think he made the decision to leave this world with the guns blazing

LAMAR ODOM OPENED HIS EYES AND SAID 'GOOD MORNING'

Great to hear that he's waken up. Wow, got chills when I read the title. I'm so happy for him and his family.

Great news indeed, after it appeared to be so dire. Still a long road ahead of him, but it's very encouraging after it seemed everyone was bracing themselves for the worst.
