Interesting.
The Spurs seem to have knack for finding odd foreign talent. I don't know how they do it but afaik they have been doing it quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a salvageable talent in this league.

Marjanovic is amazing! He is a giant. A real, ugly giant.
If you follow European basketball, you would know this man. He is a master at rebounding and blocking. But iirc he was slow.

But also he shoot free throws like Steve Nash back in the day. He can't miss.
He scored 2 feee throws for the win vs Panathanaikos. one of the best European teams.

At this point he is even behind Boris Diaw in rotation.
Starters are set with Aldridge and Duncan. First big off the bench will be David West. Then there is Diaw.
Cady and Boban probably will struggle to get into a rotation. But Pop is known to rest his players so I guess there will come chances to showcase his talent.

Well Pop is also known for not playing rookies so hahaha. Big deal here.

He looked like he was in slow motion during that whole video, but I never doubt pops for a second.

He is slow. Very slow. But where can you find 7'4'' big man? I think he will fit.
Sat Jul 11, 2015 7:37 pm
Actually there are lots of places to find 7.4" big men, talented is a another thing tho.
He looks a lot like that giant indian player Sim...
Sat Jul 11, 2015 7:44 pm
Yup, but Sim comes from India. Competition in India is equal 0. Here in Europe, he was playing against one of the best centers (Of course, best are in NBA, but still). I don't know how good he will be in NBA, but I'm sure that he is more than talented.

To be fair Sim was playing in the D League last year.

Sim Bhullar is even a Canadian citizen.
Sat Jul 11, 2015 8:17 pm
I'm just saying that he is way better than Sim is.

Thabeet wishes he had that body frame lol

The bar has been set pretty low as far as 7'4" and over centres in San Antonio are concerned.
