As noted in the Finals thread, no one's giving those poor officials enough credit, and Joey Crawford just called his 50th NBA Finals game. The LA Times has put together a tribute to his legacy.

He is probably one of the long time NBA associated people that I definitely won't miss when gone.

That Duncan technical foul and ejection gives me laughs even up to this day though.

Ref's should never make themselves bigger than the game itself.

I get they need to make sure they don't take no crap and get abused but I think they take it to far sometimes.

Think back to the days of Dennis Rodman and Rasheed Wallace,both only had to look at the ref no words needed and they would get T'd up.

Sorry for not explaining clearly for the first time. I'm talking about his tough action in other games. I hate his performance in that game either.

His performance in other games is no better. He should not be an NBA official.

They should have a system where they have to recycle the refs. Like congress.

Joey Crawford Apologized to Timofey Mozgov for Yelling at Him to ‘Shut Up’

In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, veteran referee Joey Crawford wheeled and screamed at Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov to “shut up.”

According to the big fella, Crawford later called and apologized for his rude explosion.

That's a relief. But I wouldn't mind him saying that to Dellamadonna. lol

I guess the league forced him to apologize.
