With OKC winning, this is happening. With no Bogut, I got Clips in 5.

I can see the Splash Brothers shooting down the Clippers for a couple of victories in the series, but I don't think the Warriors have enough to ultimately get the job done. Los Angeles in six.
Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:02 pm
Warriors bang bang bang bang bang bang
Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:34 pm
Sterling's slaves in 6 if either Curry or Thompson going off for 40 pts. in one game and Curry and Thompson both going off for 30 pts. each in the other.
Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:40 pm
Clipps should be able to sweep them. C in 4.
Thu Apr 17, 2014 6:59 pm
Warriors in 7. Griffin will choke big time in gm 7.
Thu Apr 17, 2014 8:07 pm
Without Bogut, I'd say Clippers in 6
Fri Apr 18, 2014 1:49 am
Clippers in 6.

Don't let me down Golden State! I've got them in 6, because I am a huge believer in Steph. Before the season, I had them going the distance. I don't see that happening anymore, but I still expect an incredible series here.

Going to be an interesting series. Both teams played really weird in game 1. I'm expecting more unpredictability in the series.

Whole lotta bad officiating.
I especially hate how the review worked in that CP3's crucial possession. It's literally fucking stupid. Sure, the ball went out last touched by CP3 but it was clearly caused by a foul. What is the point of the video review if you can't get the possession back to the rightful owner.

Foul trouble for both teams
Sun Apr 20, 2014 7:11 pm
Well played, Blake.
Sun Apr 20, 2014 7:49 pm
Is he even allowed to do that to a fan?
Sun Apr 20, 2014 7:58 pm
No, but any punishment will depend on whether or not the NBA buys the claim that it was purely accidental.
Sun Apr 20, 2014 8:15 pm
Oh, come on. It was a Warriors fan in the LAC arena

It was a slightly better performance than Jason Kidd's drink spilling, I'll give him that.

A bit OT but not sure why people run to athletes for autographs because most of them have too big egos to give two shits about those people.

Why do people even watch grown ass men play with a ball for that matter. It's not like they're killing each other like boxing.

Edit: wrong thread.

Something clearly has to be done about replays for out of bounds calls when late in games you are reviewing obvious make-up calls and reversing them, which basically screws the team twice. the ref's too big of a wuss to call a foul or contact isn't enough to call a foul so leave it as a non-call so they need to change the way they do this.

NBA admits officials missed foul call in Clippers' loss to WarriorsAs usual, it's nice to see the league owning up to a mistake, but it naturally doesn't change the outcome of the game.
However, it's another sign that the league should consider adding a fourth official who's watching the game on a monitor and can make rulings in situations like that. It would also help to expand the instant replay rulings so that officials can make other calls upon watching them; in this case, that a foul should have been called, negating the out of bounds. As Q said though, it does get a bit messy with make-up calls and the common practice of letting players get away with a foul but giving the ball to the other team on the out of bounds call, even though one of their players most likely got a fingertip on it last.
