Hawks needed big man depth after Milwaukee signed Pachulia. He's not that good any more, but this should get them a bit closer to that 8 seed.

Decent pickup for a one year deal that's presumably not too expensive. With Horford and Millsap starting, he's a solid veteran to bring off the bench.

I read somewhere that Lou Williams is to come off the bench for the Hawks. I guess this means John Jenkins starting with Korver, Teague, Horford, and Millsap.
Brand, and Lou off the bench sounds solid.

the good news is i will enjoy watching the hawks this season. seeing as i live in atlanta i semi root for the hawks to have a watchable team even if i only go to their games based on who is coming to town
