Once rated as a great defensive player on the perimeter and in the paint... He won't get much playing time in SacTown

Bucks were a mess last season and it cost them Tobias Harris. But I think this is nice. They get to get rid of a player that's gonna be even more seldomly used with young players' development.

For Sacto, not sure why they done this though.

The Kings get a bit more depth if he pans out, another frontcourt player on the roster who has had his moments. If it doesn't work out, it's not the worst contract for a team to be saddled with.

It's a better deal from Milwaukee's point of view. It saves money, frees up minutes for other players and they get a couple of second round picks to roll the dice on.

I think Andrew is right about that deal should work out better for the Bucks as it will do for the Kings. Seems like the Kings try to improve to mediocrity just to get into NBA's no mans land. Considering the fact that there will be about 11 teams to battle for playoff spots, the west isn't the place to be mediocre. I wonder if the Kings try to improve so hard to justify the effort of keeping them in Sacramento.

That probably has a lot to do with it. Having been perennial basement dwellers after the Chris Webber era came to an end, give or take a couple of years where they finished a bit closer to .500, any steps forward they can take, any improvement they can show, would be welcomed. It's not like it's a terrible move for them either, it's not particularly risky or anything, but for what each team is trying to do, the Bucks arguably come off better for the moment.

He'll see little playing time unless he goes back to playing the 3 or there's an injury so giving up two seconds to overpay this guy seems silly and pointless.
