Charlotte re-signed McBob, 2 years, 5.5M, very underrated role player, can't believe he's bounced around so much, he's a stud.

Still somewhat disappointed about that. Headscratching decision there.

Dorell Wright: $6 million over 2 years with the Blazers
Omri Casspi: unknown over 2 years with the Rockets
Francisco Garcia: $2.6 million over 2 years with the Rockets
Jeff Pendergraph: unknown over 2 years with the Spurs

Dorell Wright is a great signing but I wanted him to be with the contender because he's capable.

Shaun Livingston will sign a one year deal with the Nets.
And Earl Watson will also get a one year deal with the Blazers.

Zaza Pachulia will sign a three year contract with Milwaukee Bucks.
Sun Jul 07, 2013 3:00 pm
I thought Omri Cassipi does not want to return to the NBA?

Great for Livingston. His potential will finally be realized as he's coached by the greatest PG.

I like that the Rockets re-signed Francisco Garcia. He was the only competent defender against Durant in the playoffs.

...and Livingston lives up to be the second best point guard ever after Jamal "MVP" Tinsley.

I'm looking forward to see how the Blazers do this year now that they have a bench. Dorell Wright's a solid addition.
Sun Jul 07, 2013 7:14 pm
no news on pekovic? thought he was a pretty big deal after a breakout year
Sun Jul 07, 2013 7:51 pm
Must be a RFA.

That was Darko Milicic. If Casspi also happened to express those sentiments, he must have changed his mind.

Yes he is. From what I've read among others Cavs and Blazers are interested in signing him. Still I'd like to see him back with the T-Wolves next season when Kevin Love hopefully will be back at full strength.

Agreed that he's a keeper for the Wolves for now. Pekovic's a good player though he does have areas he needs to improve.
One thing I'm concerned though is his conditioning. He somewhat struggled to keep himself healthy last season. Otherwise I think he could have played much better. And he's not young. So it's one thing to keep in mind going forward for the Wolves.

Bucks agree on a two-year, $6.5M deal with Carlos Delfino, w/ team option for 3rd that could pay him nearly $10M, league sources tell Y!
Tue Jul 09, 2013 10:12 am
Lakers are going to sign Chris Kaman to 1 year 3.2 mil. Better choice compared to signing a questionable Bynum, which the Lakers had been rumored to be pursuing.
Tue Jul 09, 2013 10:27 am
If he's healthy, I'd have still taken Bynum, though he's probably going to fetch more than the Lakers could've offered him. As it stands, it's a solid signing for them.

Shame. I was hoping the Rockets would re-acquire him now that they have Dwight Howard. He was a huge spark off the bench this past season; it was fun watching him launch up deep threes and sink them.

Anthony Morrow to sign a two-year contract w/ the Pelicans for the veteran's minimum. 2nd year is a player option.
EDIT:
The NBA on ESPN @ESPNNBA 2m
Via @NBAPR, the salary cap for the 2013-14 season will be $58.679M. The tax level has been set at $71.748M.

The Hornets, err... Pellicans have quietly built themselves a halfway decent team on paper.it's a shame that Vasquez had to go.
Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:36 pm
Pelicans seem to have learned from the Bucks how to build a team. They're only doing it in reverse, piling up on guards instead of forward.
Anyways, here's a championship signing by the Pistons.
Pistons sign Luigi DatomeHe'll shoot lights out because Italian can shoot. We know it for a fact from Bargnani.
Thu Jul 11, 2013 10:12 pm
Nearly a decade after resurrecting the franchise and leading it to an NBA championship, Chauncey Billups has reached agreement on a two-year contract to return to the Detroit Pistons, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The deal will be worth $5 million-plus for Billups, league sources said.
Time to bring back Rip, Tayshaun, and Ben! And Larry Brown, too.
