A good signing for the Pelicans. Letting Greivis go solves the problem of Evans and Vasquez on the same team.
EDIT: Forgot about Jrue Holiday on the Pelicans. Well if Eric Gordon gets injured again they have a solid SG if not I think Evans will play SF again.

None of those three like passing the ball much, should be interesting to watch. Is Davis going to start at C & Anderson at the F with Evans/Gordon/Holiday rounding it out?
Apparently Evans did mention he wouldn't mind being the 6th man in NO. Should be interesting as I said.

Definitely a good acquisition for the Pelicans, though as Jackal said it's going to be interesting to see how it works out. I don't think you can pass up the opportunity, though.

This trade means less playing time for Austin Rivers. With this trade the Pelicans are insulting Doc Rivers who coached grown men to championships.

i read that evans will be a ginobili type 6th man. and obviously insurance for a gordon injury/trade

Austin Rivers' shooting (raw and advanced) insulted Doc Rivers, who coached grown men to championships. To be fair though, he did shoot the ball better from three point range than his old man did in his rookie season and a good chunk of his early career.

Since you mentioned it I looked at his stats again and it still makes me weep. He sucked so bad he's the reason why I can't enjoy bandwagoning the Pelicans for having Holiday and Davis. I'd rather cheer for the Heat than Austin Rivers if he continues to suck.
