Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was the only unanimous selection for the 2012-13 NBA All-Rookie first team, the league announced Tuesday.

Lillard, also a unanimous pick for Rookie of the Year, was joined on the first team by New Orleans forward Anthony Davis and Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters.

Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Warriors forward Harrison Barnes also were named to the first team.

Second Team:
Andre Drummond, Detroit; Jonas Valanciunas, Toronto; Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte; Kyle Singler, Detroit; Tyler Zeller, Cleveland

Other players receiving votes, with point totals (first place votes in parentheses): Maurice Harkless, Orlando, 14 (1); Alexey Shved, Minnesota, 14 (1); Chris Copeland, New York, 9 (1); Brian Roberts, New Orleans, 5; Andrew Nicholson, Orlando, 4; Jae Crowder, Dallas, 1; Festus Ezeli, Golden State, 1; Draymond Green, Golden State, 1; John Jenkins, Atlanta, 1; Terrence Jones, Houston, 1; Pablo Prigioni, New York, 1; Terrence Ross, Toronto, 1; Jeff Taylor, Charlotte, 1.

They're just bitter. Bitter that they either skipped on Andre, or that he never fell to their pick. Don't care. He's still the GOAT.

Good selections for the most part, though there was definitely a case for Drummond being named to the first team. I'm guessing his injury and the subsequent games that he missed led to him being overlooked.

Isn't he the one that makes more airballs than the freethrows?

Free throws are not his strength by any stretch of the imagination, but there are more positive things that he brings to the table.

He's also the 6'10", 270 lbs. center that can guard Dwyane Wade one-on-one and steal the ball from him in consecutive possessions.

I'm glad NovU joined the discussion.

I'm even more glad shadowgrin had the video handy and saved me the trouble.

Now shut up, bow down, and show some respect.

It's okay. Drummond will get even with this robbery later on in his career with multiple All-NBA First Team and All-NBA Defensive First Team selections.

Drummond is a boss, he & Monroe are gonna be a fun front court tandem to watch for years to come. Even if it is with the Pistons...

It's not Drummond's fault that he's the only one who can perceive the 11th dimension and that 'airball' he did was actually a kill shot to an 11th dimension being that was threatening our existence.

See how serious his face was after 'missing' that first FT and how he was relieved after the second 'missed' FT. He knew how close it was for us from being wiped out of existence.

We should celebrate the "Andre Drummond" day each year to the day he saved the world from that horrible threat.

He doesn't wish to. It's an ongoing war. Just remember the countless times he saved us every time he 'airballs' a FT.
