2012 Playoffs: (1) Bulls Vs. (8) 76ers

Postby Lamrock on Fri Apr 27, 2012 12:27 pm

The Sixers tanked for this spot in the playoffs. Well, you get what you ask for. Bulls in 4.

Philly looked like a dark horse with their 20-9 start backed up by excellent point differentials but they completely imploded. Stuck on the mediocrity treadmill and likely having quit on their coach, I doubt the Sixers will be able to do much against Chicago, even with a hobbled Rose.

Bulls in 7, for some reason I think the 76ers are going to be that team.
Opinions are my own.

Hmmm.... Bulls in 5, like the Nuggets Sixers slipped and I don't see a comeback here.

The Sixers made a right choice to play the Bulls instead of the Heat. So the Bulls in 4.

I could see it going five games, but I'll pick the Bulls in four all the same. Nevertheless, I doubt it'll be a walkover. If the Sixers regain the form they had earlier in the year then they could be a very dangerous team but as it stands I'm not sure they'll be at their best. They may have preferred the Bulls, but it's pretty much pick your poison at the seventh and eighth spot. I'd be very surprised if the Bulls or Heat bow out in the first round, barring major injuries.

Bulls in 4. Hoping for the best, expecting the best. Unless Sixers come in a great form in the playoffs,i can only see 4 or 5 games.

Aside from Knicks-Heat the series I'm looking forward to most. A much better matchup for the Sixers, but I say Bulls in 6.

I'd say it depends on which Sixers team shows up to the playoffs, looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

Bulls have built their plays with tremendous defense, but the problem lies on the contribution from D. Rose. Id love to see Rose taking more jumpshots and floaters from mid range area... and simply keep himself from harms way.

Bulls in 6.

If a tree falls in the woods was the appropriate choice for this poll. Otherwise I would've gone Bulls in 5, not that this series piques any interest for me.

Bulls in 5. I could imagine the Sixers providing a wake-up call, even as early as Game 1, but most of these games won't be close. The Bulls defensive depth will limit the Sixers to an 85-point series average.

Yeah, well, I'd been wondering for at least 2-3 minutes why Rose was even in the game when it was pretty much over already. Let's hope he doesn't eventually end up like Brandon Roy.

He did a bunny hop, after going off he lifted his left leg up and passed out... he was down for a good 5 or so minutes...

if injuries are going to hit the Bulls again, I'm going to expect a long series, plus, i think the 76ers are the team which is "most likely to cause an upset". I'm gonna stay tuned for this badass

An MRI isn't an injury.... it's when they check it out then see what injury he has.

Even without him, I think Chicago can beat Philly, but it's gonna take a lot more effort from guys like Boozer, Hamilton, Deng etc.

Sorry for double post but.... there goes the CHi-Town's hopes Rose w/ Torn Left ACL, DONE for the year. Just sad playing with just a minute left, now no playoffs, no Olympics.

WOW......      Torn ACL. Bulls will beat the Sixers easily still, most likely Atlanta or Boston too, but there goes the season. Had the whole team playing well and healthy and then this.... terrible day here, worst win ever.... #wastedseason.
