I thought when ur down there's no where else to go but up... But this just keeps getting worse...
Who's gonna bet there will be a big trade with the knicks...? Show of hands who do you think will be traded...? ehemm (melo) ehemmm...
Anyway... If they can't find a suitable coach quickly then NY will have a waste of talents in there hands...

It's not his fault that the offensive players New York signed complement each other poorly or that Chandler's injury prone. Doesn't mean he shouldn't have been fired, but I doubt Woodson will do any better, after the initial coach turnover boost that teams tend to get.
With the firing, I doubt they'll be making a big trade as well.

This will just screw the whole moral of the team... Specially those big talent players (Melo & A'mare) since i feel both of them are sensitive plus now they will be bombarded with questions... Howard will be loving this issue as this will slightly remove him from the headlines...
The trade thing, actually I agree but D'Antoni resigning is still a shocker and remember Deron... Anything is possible right...?
Im kinda pissed since he should have still tried to gain his locker room back but I kinda feel for D'Antoni as well as it looks like the big names doesn't really believe in the system, and obviously if that happens surely the whole team won't...
Just goes to show as well that only in video game land, this kind of big names work... In reality, its still a hit or miss...

Tragic..... TRAGIC! I agree with Lamrock, not his fault the team can't learn to work as a group, and Woodson will likely only make it worse.

I guess it works both ways, blame D'Antoni or blame 'Melo... or maybe blame both...
Think he could have had a chance in NY if they could've traded 'Melo for D-Will... but that trade seems to be off...

Did they even run his system?

He has to take some of the blame for that. Keeping a team together, managing egos and finding a way to utilise the roster effectively are the responsibility of the coach. Admittedly that's easier said than done with the current Knicks roster, but it's fair to say D'Antoni isn't the man for the job at this point.

It's only Carmelo.
From your link.
“Dolan is blaming the coach,” said a source with knowledge of the Knicks’ locker-room dynamics. “Tyson [Chandler], Baron [Davis], A’mare [Stoudemire] – guys who came to play for Mike – or that system – are pissed. Lin isn’t happy either.”

Should've traded Melo first.

Oh yah, just melo...
Anyway, looks like they blocked all of this drama and just played coz they demolished the Blazers today 121-79...

That gamem vs the blazers doesnt mean anything. The blazers are a team with negative morale. Let them play a winning team.

Agreed, Portland is more sad to watch than New York but the Knicks needed a win like this to regain their confidence.

Only the fourth team since 1986 to take 35+ three pointers in a game and make 50%. Wouldn't read too much into it.

I guess when you got guys like Novak & JR Smith on your team & they're hot, it can happen once.

It's Woodson's Hawks offense, difference is there is no Josh Smith chucking long shots. Still expect the Knicks to be eliminated in the 2nd round at best.

Two solid wins over the Pacers might be a little more meaningful.
