Lol. Again.

Bogut needs to go to Germany see what they can do about his injuries lol..

Another tough break for Bogut, following another unfortunate accident. Beyond the Bucks' season there's also the Olympics; it doesn't bode well for the Boomers.

It's not like they were headed for the playoffs anyway. I thought John Hammond was supposed to be a good GM but he's running the team in the ground trying to build some kind of Moneyball team out of efficient vets from bad teams. When Brandon Jennings is your best guy, you know you're in trouble.

Now expected to be out
8-12 weeks. That's his NBA season up in smoke but perhaps there's a chance he'll be able to compete in the Olympics at least.

I guess it won't be that fucked up. The Bucks have been playing good ball.

They're playing themselves to another 8 to 10 pick. They should instead be tanking

On the bright side, I dropped Bogut who's been fucking inconsistent all season long from my fantasy team and picked up Gooden who's about to have 12/7 every night consistently.

I blame Amare

It'd probably be the smart way to go given the circumstances, but I like their competitiveness.

Andrew, my tanking comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I don't like the whole idea of tanking. I'd prefer to see all lottery teams have a 1/14th chance of winning number one pick, then there'd be no reason to tank.

I wouldn't be totally against that change to the lottery system, though I think there's still enough risk with the current system given the amount of times the teams with the most ping pong balls have actually won the lottery; there's certainly no guarantees. I'm not sure there's been many teams that have truly tanked the season either, if anything it might be a few games at the end of the season when anyone not trying to secure a better playoff seed is going through the motions.
